This aerial view of a tanker ship sailing the ocean was photographed from the Golden Gate Bridge. The orange tanker shows up beautifully in the morning light on the green ocean water.

Tanker Ship In San Francisco Bay

This tanker ship photographed in San Francisco Bay was captured with my iPhone 4S. The imagery that can be shot with cell phone and "pocket" cameras is really amazing. This image is now a stock photo available through Blend Images. I was motivate to shoot the shot when Blend announced their MEMENTO collection of pocket camera stock photos.

Perhaps the best thing about the iPhone camera is that I always have it with me. An impromptu walk across the Golden Gate bridge turned productive for me because I had my cell phone with me and was able to take advantage of the opportunity to shoot this graphic image of the tanker ship as it sailed out from beneath the Golden Gate Bridge.
