The Eyes Are Watching

The eyes, or perhaps I should say eye balls, are watching you! In this funny, yet unsettling image five sets of eyeballs with a sinister bent, peer out from underneath the foliage. Are they predators? Are they hunting, or just shy? We don't really know whether this is an evil intent or not...it is up to a headline or body copy to move us in one direction or the other. But if we are going to go with the evil it is always nice to take it with a dose of humor as well!

One gets the feeling they belong to elusive creatures and that the eyes may be all we ever get to see of them. And if we see these eye balls, how many are there deeper in the undergrowth and darkness that we don't see? A discomforting thought to say the least!

The Threat of Eye Balls In The Garden

Is the foliage in a garden, a jungle, or even another planet? For that matter could these be alien creatures? Our imagination and creativity can take this image and run with it. The strength of this picture is that we don't get too much information and are left with our own imaginations to provide the details whether they are benevolent or otherwise.... Perhaps these eye balls represent a pest that will devour our garden delights, rodents or insects intent on reaping the rewards of our gardening efforts? On the other hand, these eyeballs may be symbolic of the creatures that we drive to extinction in our ecological ignorance? Are these the last remnants of some exotic species? Are these eyeballs a threat to our security?
