Funny Cat The Morning After

Created for one of John Lund's Animal Antics line of funny pet pictures for humorous greeting cards, imprinted gifts, fine art prints and stock photo use, this is one party animal indeed!

How To Take Funny Cat Pictures

We have a rather involved way to take funny cat pictures, rather than take them we make them. In this example of a cat wearing a lamp shade the morning after a raucous party, we first photographed the couch, then the floor (in my photo studio) followed by the balloons. Next we photographed the cat in various poses making sure that we got each limb in the position we would need for our composite. Finally, we used Photoshop to put the image together. The background wallpaper is a Photoshop illustration.

Funny Pictures of our Cat Companions

Getting these anthropomorphic funny cat photos of our feline companions is no easy task! Cats have a mind of their own and it requires a great deal of patience and a knowledge of the individual animal talent to really get the parts we need including expressions appropriate for the picture at hand. Stripping out hair and fur is no easy matter either. A typical Animal Antics cat image takes a good day or more between the photography and the digital imaging.
