This funny giraffe picture is a great business metaphor and was carefully composed to make it versatile, by virtue of cropping, for a wide variety of applications. This photo can be cropped effectively for both horizontal and vertical uses and has plenty of real estate for headlines and body copy. I photographed the large mammal at the San Diego zoo and used Photoshop to digitally composite the image together. The brick wall was photographed in Berkeley, California. The ground the giraffe is standing on was actually shot in Mongolia! You never know where the parts of an effective composite image will come from!
