Photographing chickens for my Animal Antics series of funny animal photos is kind of a challenge. The chickens don't seem to understand the poses we ask them to do. In fact, they seem oblivious to the fact that there is a photo shoot going on at all! They also tend to be very messy and do not seem to be toilet trained. Seriously, chickens are a challenge to shoot and it really helps us to have a good animal trainer at hand to hold the chicken in the poses we need in order to get the various angles and parts to put our image together with.
