Funny is definitely the word for this hilarious photo of a Holstein cow captured surfing off the coast of Hawaii. Hard to tell if she is having fun, she looks a little frightened! She must be a beginner at this sport. I suspect she does prefer surfing to cow tipping though! I wonder what kind of wax is appropriate for hooves? At least she has a tail to help her balance on that short board.

Using Photoshop to create funny animal photos
OK, I admit it...we used Photoshop to create this funny animal pic. Stephanie Roeser, my associate, actually did the compositing and retouching work using photographs that I shot both on vacation in Hawaii, and while shooting the elements for a greeting card featuring cows that party. Stephanie is an amazing Photoshop artist with an impeccable eye for detail and a strong will to get things exactly right. She works wonders with some of my photography and is rapidly becoming an accomplished photographer herself.
