In this funny picture of a cat standing in a kitchen and talking to us while gesturing with her paw, Maude the cat shares her wit and wisdom concerning the trials and tribulations of love and live. Maude is actually a cat named Roswell who is quite a talker! We used him to portray Maude, the central character in a series of funny pictures originally created for a line of humorous greeting cards: "Live According to Maude". Now, of course, this funny pix are available for all kinds of uses from imprinted coffee mugs and calendars to gift books, to, well, Whatever!

How to take funny pictures of cats

Putting cats in human poses and situations contributes great to the humor of a given situation. With this Maude series we have taken it much further creating special sets, collecting a wardrobe for, and purchasing props to shoot in compiling this collection of humorous pictures. The sets that we had built included a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a beauty salon & spa, and a cafe/bakery. All of the elements were photogaphed, using layouts to refer to, then assembled in Photoshop for the final imagery.
