Maude the cat strikes a haughty pose in her pink bedroom in this funny picture from a series of humorous cat photos. Maude is usually seen wearing her trademark pop bead necklace. She can be found in a variety of settings including her kitchen, her living room, her bedroom, a beauty salon and a cafe and bakery. She is either together with friends, or alone, but never without some wit and wisdom to help us get through even the most trying of days.

How to photograph funny cat pictures

To photograph funny cat pictures of Maude we first had five detailed set constructed. This consisted of her kitchen, her bedroom, her living room, a bakery and cafe and a beauty salon. Each set was about four by six feet in size and accurate down to such details as light switches, magazine baskets and wallpaper. We also compiled a library of wardrobe items and props. We photographed professional cats utilizing animal trainers. Once we had completed all of the photography I used Photoshop to create the final images from all the parts.

The many uses of funny pictures of cats

Funny pictures of cats can be utilized in so many ways. These images were first created for use as a line of greeting cards (Life According To Maude), and have also been used in Calendars, in gift books, and imprinted on all manner of products ranging from coffee mugs to mouse pads to water bottles.
