Maude the cat refers to a series of funny cat photos created for greeting cards and other uses ranging from calendars to imprinted products like coffee mugs, mouse pads (how appropriate), pet bowls, apparel and even water bottles!

How to create sexy cat photos of Maude the cat

To create this sexy cat photo we first had the bedroom set constructed. The set was about four by five feet in size and includes carpeting, a bed, a love seat with bolsters, a headboard for the bed, and pink curtains. We also utilized some real props and furnishing such as a vanity complete with mirror. We used Bow Wow productions to provide the professional animal talent and an animal trainer. We photographed all the various parts, then used Photoshop to composite the final image together. In all, we have over sixty Maude photos in our collection.

Of course, there are monetary rewards in mind when I make these humorous, funny cat pictures, but it is equally rewarding to know that I am bringing a smile to faces around the world. Rarely a week goes by in which I don't get at least one email from someone just thanking them for bringing some humor of fun into their lives. That is truly gratifying and certainly an additional motivating force for me to continue to create my funny animal pictures.
