A woman runs with abandon through a field of flowers in the late afternoon in a jubilant expression of freedom, vitality and joy. She wears a rich purple shift that flows like her hair in breeze.
The woman in this image was a dancer photographed in a dance studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I photographed the field of flowers on a road trip from Santa Fe, New Mexico back to my home town of Mill Valley, California. I don't remember exactly where the flowers were other than that they were off of a dirt road somewhere near the Arizona/New Mexico border. We used Photoshop to strip the dancer out and put her into the field of flowers. Next we changed her dress color (I no longer remember what color the original dress was).
